I've wanted to do road cycling since the 9th grade. I just bought my first road bike last weekend. I've been in college for about 3 years now so my weight and endurance reflect the hours spent in the library. I've always been active but after about 15 miles at a medium pace i'm wasted. What are some good ways to eat to get the winter fat off in a hurry so as not to get discouraged with my performance early on. Any info would be great as to the fact that I'm new to the sport.
