Default Too much weight for road bike?

Hi there... I've been lazy the past year and have gained a lot of weight: I'm 6' and 230-240#! How much weight is too much to abuse my Coppi San Remo with? I am running 32-spoke Mavic Open Pro's. If I am currently too heavy for my bike, at what weight can I get back on it?

Also, do I need to worry about using a higher or lower air pressure than normal?

Thanks for your time! I can't believe I let myself get this big!!!

Mount as large tires as your bicycle can clear. Run them at the pressure shown on the sidewalls. Watch the roads for hazards.
Ride and enjoy loosing weight.

Cool! Thanks. Right now I'm running 700x23 Gatorskins. I'll try it out!
