I just learned recently that my cheap custom frame is made of Tange. Do any of you know about this company/type? Any info you may know about this would be greatly appreciated!

Really interesting tech info. I could have done with it recently. Got hold of an old track bike - ally Columbus frame with a "tange" seatpost. Need to ride higher and found limited scope to experiment - seatpost too short 8)). Off in search of a longer seatpost. Politely told that supplies had dried up a long time ago. Prefab work now well under way.
