Default Second hand purchases

Hey,
new to the site and just looking for some advice from some more experienced hands.

Can anyone help me out with some second hand equipment?

Whether you have it for sale, or can recommend a website (preferred) that I can browse. Don't really have the cash now, just checking out what the scene is like.

Thanks for the help,

-trenchies.

Hi there,

i've moved your post, because it was posted in a usnet section (these are sent out to 1,000's of news servers)

They are great for general questions, but when you say stuff like 'i'm new to this site' most people will not have a clue what site your talking about, because they're not reading the group from this site. Just though i'd let you know incase you wernt aware of how it worked!

I've never looked for second hand equipment on the web, maybe you could try ebay.com.au ? or even a search on google will bring up some good results no doubt.

btw - welcome to the forum.

cheers!

I would honestly try here first and then rec.marketplace site

Here usually shops and trusted people post.

Last would be auction sites.

I've purchased a number of used items from eBay mostly, but the newsgroups are another option to look at. So far I haven't run into any serious issues.
