I'm really close the take the decission on buying a brand new 2001 k2 zed team mtb from Oshman's.
My only concern is the fork which is a Noleen Mega Air. Heard some people complaing about this item. Some others cheer about it. Really nice frame and components components (Shimano XT/LX), Titec Handelbar and headset, wtb hubs, tires and seat, etc. About 25 lbs. Spoke with the people at K2 and assure me that as these forks are not longer produced, if any issue raised that cannot be repaired, they will change the fork for a new one of a different brand, as a Rock Shox Duke XC. The bike is at a really good price with an offer from $1,200 to $699. Any comments?, thx. |
