I am thinking about joining a local charity bike tour and would like to know any suggestions about training schedules/routines in order to help me get ready for the lengthy ride.
I have in the past just biked for pleasure and exercise, so I am unaware of the ways to develop for a distance tour. I am pretty much open to trying anything. I don't consider myself to be in great shape at all so I'll have to build up to it. The tour is in 2 months and I'd like to do my best. I would appreciate any input or re-direction to good sites. Thanks so very much in advance for any help you can be. |

psuedo, click here for a thread similar to this one.
If that doesn't steer you in the right direction, post some specific questions here, and we'll help you out.

Charity rides are great ways to get into regular cycling. If you are out of shape why not make the ride the first step towards a new healthy lifestyle.
