Is it worth buying a $60 wheel cover to use in TTs since I can't afford a $1200 zipp disc?any suggestions or thoughts welcome

I'm a noob, but from what I've read, windtunnel tests show that a wheelcover works just as good as a disk. However, weight may be the deciding factor as to whether you eventually buy a disk.

Thanks for your input Renault. I'm not that concerned with the weight.Just because most of the TTs I'll be doing with the disc are flat. BTW the wheel cover I was thinking of buying is 560g

I tried finding the link...but no luck. Try doing a search on the slowtwitch.com forum. It's a triathlete forum, and the regular posters there are very knowledgable. Disk questions are very common there.
By the way, you don't have to spend THAT much on a zipp disk...check out Renn, Hed and Cormica.

Hi!

I was just wondering where I could purchase an approx.
$60 wheel cover (probably fabric). I can't seem to find
a store that sells them.

Thanks,

Robert
