Default Specific Training

Hey,
I just recently had my tonsils out (Saturday) and now can't train for 2 weeks. So I'm trying to sort out my training in this space of time.

Monday:
Tuesday:
Wednesday:Welsh Squad Training day(Track)
Thursday:
Friday:Track League(Possibly)
Saturday:Hard/Long ride or Welsh Squad Traing day (Track/Road)
Sunday:Cyclo-x race (possibly ride to and from the race)

I ain't bothered about my resluts in the cyclo-x now that i have had my tonsils out and won't be able to train for 2 weeks. I was thinking up until the Welsh Cyclo-x Championships (January 4th?) The days in between I should have easy days working on my position and pedaling techniques. Then come January 4th I will have 3 weeks off from Cycle training and use the gym/running etc as training, then come Febuary start to build up my base miles.

Please would some one be ble to guide me in the right direction in what i should be doing.

Thanks alot
Dale

Why don't you get a coach, there are lots in the UK (and plenty hanging around Newport at the moment).

Its difficult to specific give advice to you as no one knows who you are, what you've done or what state you are in. One thing is for sure make sure that you are over your tonsils before you start.

Dale,

I live round the corner from you... why not give me a shout? ric@cyclecoach.com or 01443 222718

Haven't the WCU assigned you a coach?

Ric
