Lets start this off with some info. I am new to cycling, but not completely out of shape. I am a little over weight (25% body fat). I can ride 30-40 miles a day at an average speed of 16-17mph, and that is leaving some gas in the tank. I am interested in getting into racing next spring and want to spend the winter months conditioning myself for that goal. I have a cyclops magneto trainer and access to kreitler rollers.
Now come the questions. I need information so I can make the best of my training. So if anyone has book suggestions, links, or just good advice on methods to the madness, I would really appreciate it. |
