Default no head shock pressure

Alright kids!

newbie alert! heh heh heh!

ANyway I got a Cannondale F700 and my headshock dosnt seem to be able to retain the pressure when I pump it up. Its good for like 2 days ad then it goes flat. I have converted the bike for road use but didnt change the forks.

Anyone got any ideas on what the problem might be and how to fix it without taking it to a bike shop?

All help appreciated.

Thanks

Gats

I guess a seal is broken somewhere and the shock would need to be serviced (or completely overhauled if you're unlucky.)

Yeah it could be a bad seal or valve but then again a fair few suspension systems lose air very quickly

my rear shock (manitou swinger coil 4 way) can lose its pressure in a couple of hours and i've had it rebuilt once

i don't ride without reairing the shock
