Hi M8, less CAPS!!!!!, its a 20mm bolt through axel. Instead of a QR through your hubs, thicker and stiffer, makes your forks feel less flexy. tend to be used on jump, freeride, DH rigs, but not necessary for XC/ trail riding, and as with most things stronger they are heavier (but always remember the most weight you carry is your own!!). specialised do a half way house with a QR axel on their stout hubs, suggesting they stiffen the forks, which I can only think is necessary if you run flimsey manitous or sids. Stick with QR's, unless you go hard, in which case go with bolt through axels. cheers, steve ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Why did I choose a s hiit name?!!! |

The tullio axle is sort of a 20mm through axle with QR clamps instead of four allen bolts to hold the axle in
the advantage is that its way stiffer than a normal QR and still relatively easy to pull apart for transport i've got it on my giant AC2 and it works pretty well |
