Default HAC 4 Conked Out Already???

I've been using a HAC4 for about a month. Call it 10 sessions of 2 hours average each. Last night I forgot to stop recording from my ride and when I thought about it a few hours later, the display was blank. I've tried pressing buttons to wake it up, but no good.

Are the batteries THAT short-lived??? Shouldn't the display just slow down first for awhile, THEN crap out as the battery fries? I'm not excited about the prospect of replacing those batteries every month!!!

Other thoughts?

Unhappy Re: HAC 4 Conked Out Already???

I'm interested in an answer to this as well. It's on my Christmas wish list! Have you fired off an e-mail to HAC4 and if so please post their response

If you just purchased the watch, the battery state would have been unknown, so it's possible that the batterry was practically dead when acquired the watch. Battery life in general doesn't seem to be a problem, however. FWIW, my HAC4's been ticking along quite nicely for over a year (at 100+ miles per week).

They say it's the battery.
