Does anyone understand German? I'd like to know what the HEW means on the German cyclists jersey at the World Championships.

HEW stands for "Hamburgische Electricitäts-Werke", which is the main sponsor of the BDR, the head organization of German cyclists. The world cup race in Hamburg also carries the initials: HEW Classics. So now you know. ![]() Last edited by Kathrin : 29-12.-2003 at 07:17 AM. |
