Default West Rand Spring Classic

Hi all.  I am taking the jump into Road cycling and was wondering what you guys think of this race.  I'm down to do the 94.7 (bet with buddies) and figure that it would be really useful to be able to be seeded somewhere other than the general plebs.  I've been on a few training rides (on my mtb until I find the right road bike, hope this week) and a couple of spinning sessions.  I have a month to train for this ride and as it seems to be the only qualifier left for the 94.7 I feel I should go for it.  Only problem is, how do I, in 1 month, get ready for 100 km's (even if it sounds very flat).
