Remove bottom bracket (splines broken)
In trying to replace the original bottom bracket on my raleigh bike i managed to break/mangle the splines on the non-drive (left) side. The right side is still ok but i was under the impression that the left cup should come out first.
Does any one have any suggestions on how i might proceed to get my bb off? Aaron |

The order you take them off doesn't matter. The direction you turn them does matter, of course. There is a great set of instructions, including pictures, at the Park Tool Website at URL: http://www.parktool.com/repair_help/FAQcartdg.shtml You might be able to save things by going to the right side and getting everything else out.
