Default Sensitive sense of smell

I was wondering if anyone else has my symptoms or has any info.
After a ride, normally 2-3 hours of intense cycling, well watered and fueled, when I get in the shower, my sense of smell becomes disturbingly sensitive to soap, shampoo, bubble bath.....you name it! The smell is like a really strong sulphur smell with a chemically, burn the inside of your nose effect (sometimes quite painful), which wears off after an hour or so. It's so bad though I have to pinch my nose/breathe through my mounth to continue in the shower. The Misses can't smell it when I can and it only occurrs after exercise.
Anyone know anything about this?
Ta.
