I have just purchased a 2003 Medira Matts Speed Disc MTB, and as I am very new to this sport and have read lots of comments about various products, I need a little help in identifying where in the market curtain product sit in relation to quality and performance.
The disc brakes on my new bike are Magura Julie hydraulic levers and calipers with Shimano discs. My question is where do these brakes sit comparired to others in relation to performance and quality. Tizer |

Hey
Magura Julie disc brakes are fantastic quality for the money, and i personnaly think that they compare very well with other more expensive names, Such as hope etc... I would rate Julies as an excellent brake with outstanding performance for the cost..... I would advise anyone to consider going for a set of magura's disc, as the performance to price ratio is amongst the very best!!! Hope this helps you :-) Dan |
