Default Idiotic racing tactics

I'm only new to the sport of cycling. But today I feel like going back to the sport of triathlon because I am so disillusioned by the brainless meatheads that wreck races on a weekly basis.

Today I was involved in three man breakaway on the last three laps of a crit. In the process we passed a couple of guys who had been dropped from the bunch of a different category race. These two imbeciles had done a couple of easy laps having a chat, then decided it would be amusing (or they are just plain fools) to pull the chasing bunch back to the break of our race in the last 3km.

I enjoyed my first few races but I am rapidly realising that there are some complete F@#$sticks who do cycle racing. I cant believe the club tolerates this kind of idiocy, and as a competitive newcomer I feel gutted by the selfishness and cheap glory people get from cycle racing. I wont say anything about it or complain at the event, as a new guy I dont want to get on the wrong side of people. But I just cant stop shaking my head thinking of how pathetic the actions of various people in cycling can be. I hope the two arrogant fools who wrecked todays race read this because they will know who they are. And incidentally I took great pleasure in blowing your doors off in the sprint, you are sorry excuses for sportsmen!!

Dude...don't be so mad. For every idiot in any sport, there are 10 professionals. Hang in there. It can only get better.

Best Wishes,

Is there any reason why you didn't headbutt the bastards in the sprint?

It also would have been an ideal time to make use of parked cars by the sound of things

cheers

You are from Queensland!!!! That is why you didn't enjoy it.... Move to N.S.W where there are good sports....then if you have problems there move to Victoria. Then after a yobbo throws a beer can at you, do what I did and move to Japan, where cars respect riders on the road and where cycling is booming....
