7th - 93 Tour
3rd - 95 Vuelta

Don't know about the Giro.

Does anybody have the video from the '96 (I think) tour where he
missed a turn, over a cliff, flew across a ravine and landed in a
tree? He crawled down the tree, back up the cliff and got a another
bike and finished the stage. His original bike may still be up in
that tree. He didn't start the next day. What a wuss.
