Is there an asphalt embargo in Italy?

I thought High Road coulda hooked them up with some pink tires. Lame
- poor planning on Bruyneel's part. Too much focus on "training" and
not the important details like color-coordination.

Good eyes! Hey, maybe it's not too late to be involved in
professional cycling... "So there I was, holding Contador's wheel on a
tough climb. Well, actually it was his entire bike, but anyway..."

I cannot wipe from my mind's eye the image of the camos and Robin Hood hat.

He surely is. For one thing, his pants are tucked into his boots.
For another, there is another similarly kitted-out Alpino further
down the hill at the very left of the picture. And they are the
only two people standing inside the tape; the spectators are
on the outside. They're playing the same role as the carabinieri
who usually guard the barriers at the finish. Perhaps above a
certain altitude, the Alpini have jurisdiction.

The funny thing is that our Alpino is clearly checking out the
picture he just took on his digital camera.
