can levi be the first american to win the giro?
its well regarded amongst the Italian cycling fraternity that Hamstens win in 88 was null and void due to two stages being shortened.
now that levi lempihiemer has taken it easy in preparation for Giro during the tdg he is a real chance at winning and being the first TRUE american to win the event. it would be an historic moment for american cycling and cycling as a whole. can levi win the giro?

Although an obvious troll we should be worried..... Judging by Levi's form at the Tour of Georgia he was tampering down and withdrawing blood. If he wins the farking Giro I for one will top myself...... but yes be afraid be very afraid.

Levi's performance in the TdG ( I mean, not winning, getting beat by Trent Lowe ) suggest he wasn't quite on form. Or perhaps he'd just dropped a bags worth of blood because JB told him he'd be competing in the Giro soon and emergancy measures had to be taken, fast. So he'll be on form, top 10 most definitely unless he completely domestiques himself. But I think that's unlikely.
