You have to admit that Rebellin is one of the best riders around. Even at 36
he was lacking only the tiniest amount to beat Valverde. Of course it appeared that the tiniest amount cost Valverde a pretty penny..... |

I just think he respected the strength of the Schleck brothers and felt he had to ride to counter their tactical advantage. Remember that he was in the group that Frank rode away from at Amstel two years ago. He also probably thought it was better to beaten at the line than left on the road. Bret |
