Hi all,
Just a quick plug for a charity ride - the Macedon Ranges MS Cycle Challenge, Sunday 4th May. A friend of mine assisted with some of the organisation for this ride and I did the route with him to see if it was good. In short I had a great day and enjoyed riding in a different part of the Victoria to what I am used to. The route is 135km of gently rolling hills with a reasonably challenging climb up the back of Mt Macedon at the end. I would say the ride is of comparable difficulty to the Otway Challenge (this ride is slightly shorter but the climbing is all at the end). Details are available at: http://www.gisbornerotary.org.au/ms-cycle-challenge-information/ The countryside is very scenic and there are some nice towns to stop at and get something to eat. Proceeds go to a great cause - MS research. So do something different for your Sunday ride, see a great bit of Victoria and challenge yourself. Last edited by David80 : 23-04.-2008 at 10:01 PM.
