While it is more accurate, quartz watches are also very reliable.
Quartz watches have fewer moving parts than mechanical watches, which gives it less of a chance to break down. With all of the moving parts going on in a mechanical watch, there is more friction and wear and tear on the parts, causing them to break down much quicker. |
