Thanks for all your help.
I went with a Trek Soho S and so far I'm having too much fun with it. I love the service at my local Trek store which is why I decided on the Soho. They have been really good at taking care of my childrens' bikes, when they lived at home, so I have a lot of confidence that they will take care of me too. Just two very steep, short hills between here and work that I can't pedal my 60 year old fat body up and over yet I don't mind walking a bit. At my age, very little bothers me anymore. Anyway, by the end of the summer I will make it up those hills because I intend to be stronger and not carrying so much to the top with me! The next challenge will be getting me, my grandchildren and the child carrier up and over those hills together! Thanks again for all your suggestions. |
