Default My handlebars feel stiff

Hello everyone I went out for a ride the other day and I got caught in a downpour. I came back wiped the bike off and let it dry and stuff, then a few days later I went out for a ride and noticed that my handlebars had stiffened up. What gives? This is a brand new bike. Giant MCM 2. I have Aheadset system. I never had a problem with my old raleigh but this new bike seems to be giving me some problems. I finally just got the derailleurs adjusted properly. Any advice would be appreciated.

Probably the grease on your headset was washed away by the rain. I would overhaul the headset, or better yet, replace it with a chris king. Chris King makes the best headsets ever. They are worth the 100 bux
