Default Computrainer PRO MODEL 8001 For Sale $899

It's time to train for Spring races and triathlons. CompuTrainer provides the most interesting indoor bike experience yet created. Don't settle for less than the best. It can increase your cycling power by 20 to 30% and your speed by 2 to 4 MPH. Whatever your starting point, you can improve significantly.
This unit was purchased in 2000, but only used two seasons.
CompuTrainer is best in its class by a wide margin. It sets the industry standard for accuracy (± 2.5%), power (1500 watts), quality, and service lifetime (10+ years). Up for auction is a Racer mate CompuTrainer PRO MODEL 8001 BIKE TRAINER . This product is used, (purchased approx. 2000) but is in excellent condition, with only a few scuffs and scratches here and there. I fell in love with this unit when Lance Armstrong trained on one similar. It is ready to ship. The package which includes:

Product Features

The hardware and electronic system of the CompuTrainer can create resistance loads in excess of 1500 Watts. Independent laboratory tests have shown it equal in accuracy to instruments such as the SRM and Lode systems which cost much more. Because of its superior accuracy and outstanding durability, the CompuTrainer system has become the standard testing ergo-meter of national team and elite cycling and multi-sport coaches in the U.S.A., Canada and other countries.

The CompuTrainer also has the advantage of portability; an optional carrying case is available which the airlines accept as accompanying baggage. The CompuTrainer system fits bicycles with standard wheel diameters of 26", 27", 650cm, & 700cm. (An adapter is available for 24" wheels).
This unit allow you to vary your cycling training workouts by choosing from 59 preset and random course selection. The handset display shows the calories being burned, speed and distance, HR or RPM's, and power output. Computer software is included. The software allows you to hook this unit up to your computer. A SpinScan Pedal stroke analyzer can be performed, with software, to analyze the efficiency of your pedal stroke.
The SpinScan cycle technology will teach you how to cycle. The software allows for challenge racing with more than one rider. Also, a rider data file can be established.
