MedEquip4kids are a children's charity based in Prestwich Manchester and once again this year we are our holding the Lancashire Loop Bike Challenge.
The event is being held on Sunday 28th September and is now in it’s fourth year. It offers cyclists a choice of a 45 mile or a 100 mile route and this year, we have a third option of a 25 mile route. This is a flatter course which is more suitable for families with young children wishing to take part and cycle together. We had more than 170 cyclists last year and once again we are hoping this year it will be even bigger and better! The registration fee is £12 for individuals with a minimum sponsorship of £35 and for a family of 4, the registration fee is £25 with a minimum of £70 sponsorship. We had such good feedback from last years Loop and Medequip4kids organise the whole event. It starts and ends at Cockerham Village Hall near Lancaster, and participants will ride through the Lune Valley, Bowlands Fells and the Ribble Valley. At the hall there are toilet facilities, refreshments, manned water points through-out the route and it is fully marshalled with support vans and first aid. If you’d like to take part visit our website www.medequip4kids.org.uk or call 0161 798 1600. |
