Default Can't reach the low handle bar?

I have a road bike but am uncomfortable stretching down to the low handle bars (the curl part). Is that a sign that the bike dosen't fit me? Maybe I need to reduce by stomach?

Your bars may well be too low.

Most peoples' are.

See if you can raise the stem some more, if not, get a longer stem.
You may also want to flatten out the 'ramp' (top portion above the brakes) to give you a better perch when riding more upright.
Another reason why many people find road bikes uncomfortable.
