Default Evans has attacked in Liege and Lombardy

2005 Liege St Nicholas
2004 Lombardy

2005 Tour de France, stage 16 to Pau
2007 Tour de France, stage 9 to Briancon
(with Contador)

2005 Tour of Germany stage 7

Arguable the 2005 attack made the race in Liege. There are only a few with legs to attack there. I think if Evans did not have a focus on the Tour, he would be a fine hilly classics rider, one of the best of his generation.

I think he is spread to thin, riding a full calender, and on the wrong team. I dont know what the right team is. Perhaps a return to a new High Road, if the culture has changed.
