Had a misadventure with a trailing rose which caught and tore my leg. Two days after stitches my leg blew up very red and puffy with cellulitus. Spent 2 weeks on IV antibiotics, 4 days in hospital. Doc has put a special stocking on the leg - concern about veins in leg. I'm able to ride again but not sure about wearing a daggy stocking while I'm cycling whether I should wear it or not. Anyone got any ideas about vein insufficiency in legs and riding?
Thanks. |
