Default San Fran to Boston for The Make A Wish Foundation

This summer i will be biking from San Fran to boston as a fundraiser for The Make A Wish Foundation. I was Wandering if anybody knew of any good references that may aid in route planning. I'm having trouble finding maps that clearly label roads that are legal for bicycle traffic. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank for your time

You should check out Adventure Cycling Association (www.adventurecycling.org). They have created several cross country routes that you can connect to an follow.

Also check www.crazyguyonabike.com for hundreds of bike journals of cross-country trips.

I'd highly recommend you search on www.biketouringtips.com for information that will help you plan your journey. As a start, try this page with 7 links to information about cross-country trips and the ACA's Transamerica Trail .
