Bike Shorts, Shoes, Oh My...
Alright. As I've said before I'm completely new to the sport so I apologize if I sound a bit 'lame'. I've heard that bike shorts are the most important purchase (besides a helmet of course) a cyclist can make starting out. Are there any that you all can recommend? And, what else should I be looking in to?

I can recommend Ground Effect shorts - wonderfully comfortable (I have 3 pairs) They are based in New Zealand and are mail order only but have quick delivery times and there are no problems with exchanging if you get the size wrong. Prices are very good too!
