Yes, without doubt.
In fact there are studies suggesting that amongst people trying to lose weight, those who eat breakfast are more successful than those who do not. I eat breakfast every day, most days it is a fairly healthy breakfast eg. cereal+muesli+banana or grain bread toast. Occasionally I lash out and have something like a croissant or pancakes with maple syrup or bacon and eggs. One thing I can't live without is my morning caffe latte (or cafe au lait if you prefer) |

Eating breakfast has many benefits. It definitely jump starts your bodies metabolic rate.

I know everyone's system is different, but I think you have to eat at least a little something in the morning to give your body something to burn. I usually work out early in the morning and even if I don't feel like having anything, I try to get at least a banana or an energy bar to get me going.

I'm thin and its not as fun as it sounds, I have to eat breakfast othrewise I go all funny and collapse at about 11am
![]() But seriously it helps you to loose weight, it really helps with your concentration and it means you can train harder. Obviously heathy is best, I have found some really great museli recently full of fruit and nuts and stuff and that keeps me going for hours.

Oh yeah a must. If going out cycling, scrambled eggs on toast, vegetable juice,
and maybe a banana a few hours before I go, and I'm all set. |

Breakfast is the best, brown rice, a tin of salmon at 05:30 in the morning does the job. Thing is you get used to it.
BTW Whats a Boonan? (Apart from the cyclist bloke).
