Aloha Everyone,
New to the sport entirely, and new to the forums...so any advice would help TREMENDOUSLY! A little background info seems to be the trend, so here goes. Been in and out of sports most of my life, from wrestling to rugby (I'm the headache in my family ) but in the past few years I started to focus on my academics and job. I'm currently in my fourth year of college, working two jobs, and feel completely terrible because I haven't done something for myself in a really long time. So, after talking to a family friend recently, I decided cycling would be my next big step. The challenge and dedication seems addicting, so I can't wait to start. I just put a payment down for a Raleigh Sport, should be coming in next week. Ah, my first roadbike!! Hope I don't sound like too much of a nerd, but I just wanted to say hello and start talking with people (women especially) who are already immersed in the sport, or share nerves with fellow beginners like me Thanks, and I hope to hear from you guys soon!! |
