.. For leisure wear or only active wear? That has been a question floating around lately and my friends and I had a debate about it today. Honestly, I think it is best left for cycling, what is your opinion?

  Zippered pockets or open?
  Team or generic logos?
  Should I buy them bigger so it's a little loose fitting?
  Should I wear it right after a ride or wash it first?

The fact that this subject is even being debated is cause for concern...walking around in a tight lycra spandex top is not my idea of traditional leisure man-wear, I could be wrong though...in your neck of the woods, maybe it's okay...a women's fashion sense being what it is, a hot woman could get away with it...

I know plenty of people worldwide that wear these jerseys casually, I just can't see myself doing the same. The jerseys are created tight for a reason, to be used simply as active wear. The same goes with that under armour coldgear and heatgear. I don't see how people can walk around in these things.

Two of my friends walk around in Discovery and Liquigas jerseys like nothing is wrong. I can find a few .. when you're wearing a jersey that is lime green or one that has a huge picture of the Earth and a crapload of company logos all over the place you look like a complete idiot. That's the end of the discussion, or so you'd think.

I just wanted to know if there s anyone on here that wears those jerseys casually. The only other people I know of that wear the jerseys casually are some of my friends back in Europe that wear some during road races as spectators. That's at least passable in my opinion. But imagine going with someone to a restaurant wearing a Liquigas jersey. That's like wearing a Miroslav Satan hockey jersey in a church.
