Well, why not just check out the official website (also some of the information in English). http://www.eroica.it/
One day I will have to do this ride (this year it will be held 5 October 2008). A few pictures from the website to give you an idea of the 'spirit' of the ride... even the support vehicles have to 'period specific'.
