What would be considered the avg. drop from seat to handlebar for a racer?

This measurement rised much during last years (see Discovery channel bikes...), since it's been shown (with a study in the gallery of wind) that it's not aerodynamically important; much more important, in terms of aerodynamics, is the lenght of the handlebar and how much the rider has an aerodynamic profile. In my bike I have 4,5 cm, though an important measurement would also be the handlebar drop... I'm using a ritchey classic drop 133 mm |
