Default Bah humbug

Sunday 10.40pm: For some only-God-knows reason I'm watching Ch9 and some POS filler called 'The Late Shift'.

Opening skit - cyclist lying on the side of road, dazed and possibly hurt. Female driver stops and asks if he's ok & behaves suitably demonstrative. Until the cyclist mentions that a blonde female driver cut him off while waiting for the lights. Then he recognises the good Samaritan as the idiot who hit him in the first place. She then stomps, hits and verbal abuses the bloke while he's sitting lying down, screaming cyclists shouldn't be on the road blahblahblah.

Apparentely it's supposed to be post-modernist oh so hip cack-a-minute japes. So far all the sketchs have been absolute dogs & about as funny as a dose of the squirts. Fk this for a game of soldiers, turning off the telly and going back to listening to RN. </end curmudgeonly rant>

It wasn't funny, but I thought she beat him up for running the red -
he said he anticipated the green by about half a second (or somesuch).

Oh I dunno, that's about when they run Stargate, which should be in
prime time.
