hello everybody, i'm trying to convert my MTB to a fixie and seeking for a rear hub. I know the ECHO hubs are for Trial bikes, but it looks suitable for my voodoo WANGA MTB frame. am i correct?
My frame has the adjustable dropout so i will remove the chain tension on the hub. The spec. from the official website: Spindle Fixed rear hub for 26" stock bikes, which has 135mm frame space : By the spindle design, you will never have the striped thread on your hub any more. Build in chain tensioner works great and easy to install and remove the wheel. You wouldn't hit the tensioner when side hopping because it's inside the frame. The cog can be removable by a spanner. Balance hub shell design, you can use same spokes of both side. 12mm 4135 CRMO steel head treaded axle. 4 Sealed bearings inside. 135mm axle for normal 26" bikes. In 6 color, 32H only. The 15T cog is included by the hub. http://www.echobike.com/wheels.html Last edited by alpha2k : 05-11.-2007 at 09:28 PM. |

BTW, a friend reminded me that the hubs for trial bike are always not as smooth as the XC ones. Does anyone know of this ECHO hub? |
