Sorry for the late notice but great event if you'd like to do it next year
Great fundraising event with serious climbs through beautiful rural scenery. For those of you that haven't heard of the Fitz's Challenge it's an annual cycling event held here in Canberra. You can choose the distance you want to ride starting from 40kms upto 201kms. I choose the 165km. http://www.pedalpower.org.au/events...?IntContId=1207 A good story is a short one so basically my attempt at my first Century was unsuccessful Actually it almost broke me.Looking back I felt confident with the distance but should have prepped more with my hill climbing. After all the course did say approximately 2000m vertical Oh well theres always next year! Enjoy |
