Default Help. Budget of £700 ($1500??) for a road bike.

hi, I have approx. 700 pounds to spend on a new road bike (thats 1,580 AUS dollars). I will be using the bike for duathlons during the winter and then triathlons during the summer.

I have been browsing on the net and have come across a few that i like the look of.

The 'Cube Attempt' particularly caught my eye.

I am actually a swimmer, moving towards triathlon and therefore my cycling knowledge is pretty much zero.

What bike would you buy in this kinda price range?
What do you think of the Cube Attempt?

Any advice would be very usefully.

thanks in advance.
