One week before National Ride to work week, the 100+ cycle commuters who ride to Brisbane Airport (at all times of the day & night) found the shoulder of Airport Drive northbound blocked off with large concrete barriers and "Bicycles Prohibited" signs a couple of days ago.
The ride has gone from being relatively safe to deadly. Is this the BAC idea of reducing their traffic woes and consulting with the community? A fine start. |

It gets worse... I suppose you know that BAC have decided to ban bicycles from all airport roads for up to 2 years because they can't be bothered to facilitate safe access during gateway road construction? |
