Hi guys,
I am trying to find out more info about 2007 Bianchi D2 Crono frameset. I am deciding between two framesets-2007 Pinarello paris and 2007 Bianchi D2 Crono. I don't do time trials and I don't ride trial bikes. I just wonder how is D2 Crono when it is set up as a road bike, not tri bike. Unfortunately I will not be able to ride any of them before buying, so I am hoping someone could help me with a bit of info, someone who had the saddle time on one, or maybe both of these frames. Here is what I want to use as a setup:2007 D2 crono, campy record group, campy bora ultra wheelset, allanera bars, fizik saddle. Here is what I expect: great responsivity to power transfer, and medium stiffness, not too cushy, but ok to ride for 3-4 hours without being punished too much. The thing I am asking here is: the 2007 D2 crono: is it ok to set it up as a road bike, or is it strictly a tri frame? If it is ok as a road bike, which frameset would be more suitable for me according to the info above? Thanks in advance folks. |
