Hi, hoping you can help me out.
I have an old specialized rockhopper fsr (around 2000/2001 vintage) she's old and heavy but I like her anyway it's reached that point where the rear shock and front fork are both nearly seven years old and could do with replacing!! currently the front is a manitou magnum and the rear is a 6 inch fox vanilla I use the bike for everything from a short but hilly (3 mile each way) commute to work, a fair bit of muddy/stoney cross country runs and some mild downhill (I'm old and scared!!) I'm thinking of fitting either a rockshox tora 302 or a Marzocchi MX pro eta to the front and either a rockshox monarch 3.r (I like the idea of the remote lockout for on the fly adjustment.) or a fox rp23 to the rear end. anybody using these forks/shocks at the moment and able to offer words of wisdom/experience in this?? cheers Whitey |
