Default Sydney/eastern suburbs mornning rides.

hi guys...

just wanted to get more info about the rides people go on in the morning.

usually when i am going to work on day shifts i see groups of riders go southbound down anzac parade past the uni/kingsford/maroubraeach day. i am interested to know what route they normally take. i guess they head down to la perouse ( this is weekdays)

i feel like joining one of these groups one day, but dont know if i am up to their pace, also might feel like i am intruding on their group.

i take it these are seasoned guys in these packs? whats a good beginners group ( if any exist) to start group riding with?

thanks heaps

Yep, that would be the La Perouse ride. Typically the bunches start in Centennial Park and ride there and back. Randwick Botany is one of the clubs that conduct these training rides.

There are other routes too in and around Eastern Suburbs. Or there's always that Centennial Park loop, with or without hills thrown in.
