I am riding a Specialized M4 Stumpjumper which I have only had for four months. I am in Alice Springs and ride 70% off road, 30% bitumen. The Stumpy came with Specialized PRO ROLL X tyres which although are light weight, they are a bit soft and are wearing quite badly on the rough outback terrain here. Most trails are a mix of rocky shale on the hills and soft sand on the flats. I am after a tyre that will wear well, provide good traction (I am currently getting a lot of wheel spin in the sand), and still provide me with a decent speed on the road. Not after much hey!!!
Thanks, Wave ![]() |
