Default New late season PMC?

I was off the bike for 6 weeks. I'm back now and I've gone from a FTP of 290 down to amybe 230? I have a big race on Nov 11. Should I consider this another season by starting a new PMC with my lower FT or enter new numbers in my existing chart?

When would you normally consider the season to start? I'm not understanding why this situation would cause you to consider starting a new season.

My season typically starts Oct. 1 ( just realized that's in 2 weeks and I'm so not ready to start *training* again), so I'd just update my zones with the new FTP and get going again. Whether the training occurs at the end of one season or the beginning of another makes no difference in the PMC.
