overhauling PT Standard hub
I have cleaned and regreased the cone and bearings on the drive side of the hub before but I was told that it is possible to replace the standard cone with an ultegra cone as an upgrade to eliminate the premature pitting that develops with the standard cones. Has anyone tried this? I also need to replace my axle due to some corrossion that has developed on the ends which is weird. Does anyone know of a compatible axle upgrade that might work instead of replacing it with the same model that I currently have?
