Unhappy Pain, pure pain

Hey all, I'm just feeling sorry for myself, but bear with me. I totally destroyed my right shoulder yesterday doing some what some would likely call "free riding", but it's just riding a bike, you know? It's the fourth time I've destroyed a shoulder and the second time (in a year and a half) on a bike. It's not the worst thing, but the last time I was not able to get aggressive or ride the cool stuff for over 6 months. Now that's pain! I just heard from the ortho doc after work today he is sure I am going to have to have another surgery. Great. Rehab, loss of strength, pain, feeling like a punk, blah, blah, blah. I don't know if I have another recovery in me. Riding keeps me sane and that isn't always easy some weeks. Anyway,...

I know I am whining, but I needed to vent I suppose. My buddies are sick of listening to me and my wife HAS to be tired of it by now and it's only been a day. Thanks for letting me vent folks. Take care and please keep the rubber side down.

K.

I totally feel you man. I am recovering from back surgery, so that's why I have all the time in the world on the boards. 3 more months, and I'm gonna take it easy.

Orthos, and neurosurgeons, i know them well But, my neurosurgeon did a great job on a microsurgical discetomy on my back. I had a herniated disk on my back due to stupid exercising (weightlifting)
